O Wii U e o Nintendo 3DS roubaram a cena na conferência da Nintendo na E3 2011, mas isso não quer dizer que o Wii e o Nintendo DS serão jogados para escanteio tão cedo. De acordo com uma relação divulgada pela Big N, ambas as plataformas ainda possuem muito trabalho pela frente.
Para Wii, o destaque vai para "The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword", agendado para o final do ano. Aliado a ele, a plataforma ainda recebe "Spider-Man: Edge of Time", "X-Men: Destiny", "Kirby Wii", "Mario Party 9" e outros títulos.
Já os proprietários de Nintendo DS podem esperar por "Kirby Mass Attack", "Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2", "Professor Layton and the Last Specter" e "Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2", ampliando a biblioteca de títulos para o portátil.
